Started with a customer request, roda Power has developed a galvanic isolated CAN bus repeater. With the galvanic isolated CAN bus repeater roda has succeeded in performing a discrete solution where fully-integrated power and signal are isolated separately for reliable operations via CAN.

So, it is a repeater which repeats CAN bus signals from one end to another end on a galvanic isolated path.

The final qualification tests EMI, electrical system for land vehicles and extended temperature range are in progress. CAN bus is suitable for harsh electrical environments, and thus a perfect addition to roda computer's portfolio for challenging environments.
